Loving this recent installation by artist, Martin Heron, at Prescot Railway Station in Merseyside!

Featuring our bends, the sculpture represents the industrial heritage of the town, paying homage to watch making, tool making, coal mining, pottery and insulated cables to name a few.

In total, Angle Ring supplied 17 pieces of 168.3mm OD x 6mm tubes, cold formed from grade S355 material to create the wave we see here which now forms part of a 48m long sculpture that sits on the station wall.

As a company that advocates local heritage, it’s pleasing to see how the representation of a town’s history can help form it’s future.

Well done to the everyone involved in the project!
