Angle Ring obtains EU standard for CE marking of structural steel
We’re constantly adapting to change at Angle Ring to make sure we are not only providing our customers with a fantastic service, but we are also compliant in doing so.
After Brexit, rules and regulations changed on the CE marking of structural steel, resulting in us having to find an EU notified body to requalify, to enable us to continue to export our steel bending products to our European customers.
We’re delighted to have received our new CE marking accreditation through National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) for the supply of ‘Structural Components for Steel Structures’ and to also obtain our Welding Certificate, allowing us to undertake steel bending and further fabrication work to EU standards.
To our UK customers, rest assured that we hold all the relevant qualifications to continue our supply into the UK as well, with the UK CE marking certification now known as UKCA.
The European market is still a key area of growth for Angle Ring, so obtaining our certification in these areas means our customers can be confident in the quality of our work.
Well done to the teams involved behind the scenes at Angle Ring to help make this happen!
