Bespoke Structural Sections

NEW CAPACITY at Angle Ring now allows for the forming of non-standard structural sections in lengths up to 10 metres long.

Large press-braking machinery is used to fold or form plate for a variety of markets, however of particular interest is the forming of custom made structural sections to architects and engineers specific designs.

Angle Ring are always one step ahead of the rest, and the addition of new machinery & tooling once again gives them the edge.

Angle Ring now utilise press-braking machinery, with 1200 tonnes capacity, enabling material up to 25mm thick to be pressed over the full 10 metre length. This is believed to be the strongest machine with a single blade length in the UK situated at a structural steel bending company.

bespoke structural section in the form of an Octagon ready for welding   Along with their full edge / end preparing and welding service, this now allows long plate to be prepped, formed & welded to produce structural sections to unique designs such as the Octagon as below.

Once welded the sections can then be curved to a radius using Angle Rings extensive section bending capacity, giving a new look to any feature steelwork.

David Springthorpe, Managing Director of Angle Ring stated We have seen an increase in demand for structural sections produced to customers specific requirements over the past few years, it has certainly been a challenging period .
